Comfort & Style. My Favorite Two-Fer…

Comfortable Elegance: Beaded & Embroidered Slip-Ons

Beaded & Embroidered Slip-Ons

These beautifully embroidered, sequined and beaded mules are another item I never intended to carry. Shoes?! Excentricities isn’t a shoe store…but it is the perfect place to expect the unexpected, in style.

As with the gold and diamond bangle bracelets, I was wearing these slippers in the showroom and the people spoke!

Black, Beaded & Sequined: the Details

Black, Beaded & Sequined: the Details

I walk many miles every day in the showrooms and I need a comfortable shoe — but I don’t want to sacrifice style. I also need footwear which won’t wreak havoc with the antique rugs covering our floors.

These elegant mules have a small wedge heel, a standard fashion-shoe sole, and the toe is absolutely perfect. Not too pointed not too round just — perfect.

I slip into a pair each day when I arrive at Excentricities. They feel especially good if I’ve had to spend the morning wearing stylishly uncomfortable shoes for a meeting or buying excursion.

I keep several pair at the office; something to complement any outfit. Clients and customers kept asking about them but these slippers weren’t available locally and I’d never seen them online so — yada yada yada, they’re now a very popular item.

We carry them in red, blue, and black. The red and the blue slippers are bright and tightly embroidered with heavy silk thread (the blue shoes are embroidered with an icy silver thread and the red shoes with a warm golden thread); a few beads and faux gems are interwoven with the embroidery. The dark black mules are a lovely riot of beads, sequins, and costume jewels. And did I mention — they are so comfortable.

At the moment we have a steady supply of all three colors (bright red with gold embroidery, bright blue with silver embroidery, and dark black with baubles, sequins and beads), but the sizes come and go, so please feel free to contact us and we’ll be happy to help you find the colors available in your size today!
